Hammers Hurricane

The Hurricane power tool is available in three series: Professional, Master, and Amateur. Hammers of these series differ in power (from 500 to 850 watts), as well as operational characteristics. Hurricane drills, the reviews of which are presented below, are designed taking into account the specifics of the Russian climate and are able to withstand the largest loads. In this case, be sure to consider the purpose of the tool and its actual use.

Uragan MHR 850 - the right thing.

I bought a hammer drill from the company Uragan model MHR 850, more than 2 years ago, about it I have only the best associations. He is my integral assistant, at home, to dachas, friends often take, never failed, he copes with any task in two ways. Power is excellent, especially for such a cost.

Of course he is heavy, he weighs a little more than 5 kg, but so it is not plastic. Moreover, with the swotting mode, its weight grows only into a big plus, it works quickly. Good equipment, there is everything necessary for work, there are several different drills, brushes, grease, two chucks, blades. Everything is stored in a convenient plastic case, does not take up much space, folded and forgot about it. I honestly am very pleased with my purchase, and whenever possible I always recommend, I advise you to buy this particular drill, to all your friends and acquaintances!

The Uragan MHR 500E rotary hammer is a good model for a beginner builder!
A comment
The first drill I bought for my work was the Uragan MHR 500E. The usual, not expensive punch, which is convenient to operate, its huge advantage is its low weight. That affects when you work in high forests and at the same time you drill holes above your head (before that, I had a Devolt hammer, very heavy, my hands tired of holding it after 3 minutes of work).
pros
Very light, price!
Minuses
Well, there are drawbacks, the punch, frankly, is rather weak for serious work, the manufacturer “declares” in the technical characteristics of the punch that its power is 500 watts, but in fact, it is not more than 270-300 watts, which is quite small. The puncher for auxiliary works (but no more), everything completely suits me in it.

The URAGAN MHR 850 puncher is not a bad budget model!
A comment
I am engaged in construction work, where I use the URAGAN MHR 850 puncher almost every day (for 3 years). I bought it at one time, at a very inexpensive price, something around 1800 rubles. For all this time, revealed the following:

- if you are going to buy, immediately check the seals in the store (in my punch, they were simply absent, I immediately changed the perf to a new one).

- for some reason, the manufacturer did not “please” the presence of the instructions in the kit, which greatly complicates its repair at home.

- if after purchase you don’t change the factory “grease” (it’s not grease, but some kind of liquid and greasy dirt with dust particles), then over time, the impact force on the punch will become much less. When replacing grease, it is advisable to use grease for Makita rotary hammers.

- for some reason, the punch is much better “hammering” concrete walls than brick.
pros
price, drill concrete walls well!
Minuses
no instructions, poor factory lubrication!
Term of use
more than five years
