Makita HR 2460 - the punch that always helps out!
A comment
I’ve been working with the Makita HR 2460 puncher for several years, the tool is really working, despite the fact that it has been dropped from the woods several times. He always helps me out, he especially helped when cutting out a place under the “glass” for sockets with a crown. To increase its work and reduce the option of breaking the barrel, I lubricate the gearbox with grease manufactured by Metabo, it is much thicker than the rest of the grease and remains longer on the rotating elements. Also, to relieve the load on the engine, I regularly grind the peak and the blade with a “grinder”.
pros
A reliable machine, I bought and forgot about the problems with drilling and beating for 5-7 years.
Minuses
heats up when working with a mixer.
Term of use
more than five years

Impressions of the Makita HR2811FT punch - solid "good."
A comment
Well, what can I say, it became necessary to buy a new rotary hammer, as my Bosch GBH 2-24D ordered a long life and I had to look for a replacement for it. I chose a puncher for small repair work around the house, and it was necessary to conduct light in the country. Well, in the end I bought this handsome Makita HR2811FT.
pros
What I liked about him:

- two cartridges in a set

- perfectly dampens vibrations, frankly did not even expect this. You take it in your hands, just pressed it - the hole is ready! 70 tungsten crowns made cavities for boxes for sockets, I didn’t even notice the brick walls.

- the safety clutch simply saved me, the drill wedged a couple of times (clinging to the fittings in the wall), but it worked out with a bang, it did not twist the arms

- Well, about such mandatory trifles as the speed control at startup, the backlight and depth gauge will simply add nothing, some pluses
Minuses
Alas, there are disadvantages:

- the auxiliary handle is placed only in certain positions, a trifle and not nice

- the suitcase somehow does not inspire confidence, too flimsy

The practical tool - Makita HR 2450 puncher!
A comment
I bought a new apartment, in which there was already a repair, but the repair was carried out by unfortunate craftsmen and I had to redo it all over again. After removing another layer of plaster from the second wall, my old puncher

Bosch smoked and stopped working. Having considered the costs of its repair and decided to buy a Makita HR 2450 Hammer. I bought it for reliability in operation and good reviews from friends. Working with this tool is a pleasure. All modes function perfectly. I especially liked working in the "chipper" mode, there is enough power to punch a hole in the base FBS block. During prolonged use, the apparatus does not heat up, and even then, when I mixed thick tile adhesive in large quantities. What surprised me most was that after the repair was completed, I unscrewed it and decided to replace the brushes, upon examination, I saw that the brushes were almost intact (they were a bit sharpened).
pros
+ Great price and quality.
Minuses
- native "peak and shoulder" of bad steel, immediately buy others.
Term of use
more than one year

High quality
A comment
Those who have met Japanese products of any kind and purpose know that this is excellent quality and a long service life. Makita punchers have a high reliability category. If I come across Japanese equipment, tools and I have the opportunity to buy it, then I definitely buy.

I worked at a construction site for some time, and I used to use both a punch and a drill from a Japanese manufacturer. This is an excellent professional tool and therefore rich construction companies can afford to have an expensive tool.
So I need to pick up a little more and I will have a personal punch. And through the Internet I watch, the purchase will be cheaper than in the store. And this opportunity is already pleasing!
pros
Reliability, endurance.
Minuses
The disadvantage of the tool is one - the price. The Japanese know and have always known the value of their quality.
Term of use
half a year

Makita BHR261RD - cordless drill with quick charge
A comment
In addition to the main job, I constantly work part time with small electricity cobs. A good tool is the key to success, after I changed two Chinese rotary hammers I decided not to spare money but to buy a really good tool. Before buying a Makita BHR261RD cordless rotary hammer, I studied its performance for a long time and looked for reviews about this model. After working for 6 months, I can say for sure that the cordless rotary hammer is not inferior to its network counterparts in terms of functionality.

There were doubts about the batteries, according to the passport it is written that the charging time is 20 minutes, I did not believe, as it turned out in vain. I also doubted the power of the punch when working with concrete walls.

Two batteries of the punch last for several hours (3-4 hours) of intensive work. Crowns and peaks on concrete the puncher pulls without problems, 3 hours of continuous gouging in concrete, any model can be proud of this result. The functionality is fully consistent with the passport of the punch; there is enough power for any type of wall. It was necessary to somehow drill a hole in the concrete wall of 26 mm, managed in 10 minutes. Use as a screwdriver is possible, but not too convenient because of its size.

In addition to excellent performance, a big plus for me is that I stopped carrying a reel with an extension cord, and there was no need to look for a connection point. During my work, this is important, since when working with electrical wiring, it is desirable to disconnect the entire apartment from power and connect a network punch is problematic. In my opinion, the ratchet (brake during the wedge of the drill) is much better than that of network models. And the system for damping vibration is also at its best. My wrists ached constantly with the old puncher, now I forgot about this problem.
I am pleased with my purchase and wrote this review with great pleasure.
pros
A wide range of functionalities: chipping, hammer drilling, drilling, screwdriver function. Lack of a power cord and fast battery charging (20 min). Electronic speed control and reverse. Fast battery charging does not slow down the work process.
Minuses
I did not reveal any flaws, the price is certainly high but I do not regret it.
