Jacob Delafon Baths - visitor ratings and reviews

Very small but stylish
A comment
The bathroom is of high quality, like all products of this company. When I bought it, I thought it was a little larger, although the Skybuy manager pointed it out to me, but I'm not so tall, so I thought it would be normal. But in the end she was too short. My height is 170, and I barely fit.
pros
Quality, design, coating.
Minuses
Size, price.
Term of use
half a year

Small basin for big money

I would not advise anyone else in the cast-iron bathtubs after my experience. We bought a cast-iron bathtub Delafon. Darling by my standards. We chose between cast iron and acrylic, the seller carried out propaganda in the name of cast iron, convinced that it was the cast iron bathtub that was the best thing that could happen to us. Well, they believed. I regretted my decision on the very first day of operation. The bath was terribly uncomfortable and shallow. Yes, yes, the depth is more suitable for bathing children. The back is too gently sloping, because of this, the laptops do not really fit, all the time I am freezing in it, and my height is only 173 cm. And the husband cannot wash in it at all, half of the water spills out. What a poor design !!? Moreover, the store looked quite roomy, in our opinion, problems with accommodation should not have arisen. Break off what is called. Yes, in addition to this, scratches literally immediately appeared. We will change and take acrylic with a more convenient shape. Perhaps even a corner.
pros
They are not here!
Minuses
shallow depth, uncomfortable back, scratches quickly
Term of use
less than a month

Jacob Delafon Melanie bathtub is very cramped.
A comment
At the first reception of water procedures, in the bathroom from Jacob Delafon model Melanie E2925, I realized that she was even small for me. Although I wear size 44, it turned out to be narrow for me, it is very crowded and not comfortable in it, what can I say about her husband. Such a bath is intended for children only. In addition, it is impossible to sit in it normally, all right up to the mark, there is no extra free centimeter. And frankly, standing in it is also not very convenient. In general, not a hint of comfort and relaxation.

From the positive, I note that the casting of the cast iron base is performed qualitatively. The enamel has a smooth and even surface, the color is even, the enamel does not crack or fade. The bath weighs moderately enough when compared with the previous bath. The shape of the bowl looks very interesting and the excellent quality of the pens.
I’ll also add that the second time I would definitely not buy it.
pros
Quality materials, appearance, good quality pens.
Minuses
Very tight, narrow, designed for children only.
Term of use
more than three years

We have been using Jacob Delafon bathtub since 2009, in principle, we are satisfied !!
A comment
In 2009, he installed the Jacob Delafon bathtub, Diapason model 170x75.My family has been using her enough time to give an objective assessment of this model.
First, I’ll say that the bathtub looks solid, stylish, in this regard it is much superior to domestic manufacturers of bathtubs. The bath has openings for handles, it’s convenient to use them, it is much easier to get up with them when the bathtub is full of water. The main thing is to securely fix the handles so that they do not hang.

On the surface of the bathroom, after some time there was a coating of yellowish tint, which is rubbed off only with the help of harsh chemistry. I also note that the anti-slip coating is practically not noticeable. The legs glide with him, so we put a rug on the bottom of the bathtub. Well, in general, the bath is not bad, not perfect, but my family is comfortable in it, and this I consider the most important.
pros
Looks stylish, has handles, roomy
Minuses
There is a coating, anti-slip coating does not help
Term of use
more than five years

Enamel is very fragile in Jacob Delafon bathtubs.
A comment
Soissons E2921 installed Jacob Delafon bathtub after repair. After installation, it immediately became clear that our old Soviet bath was many times better than this. It was wider, although only 5 cm, but believe me, for a bath this is a noticeable difference. And by the way much deeper. Little space in it, only suitable for a child or for very thin people.

The paint on the bath has been holding for the third year (although it pleases), but scuffs began to appear. The wife washes her only with non-abrasive means, it’s even scary to imagine what will happen to her if she pours harsh chemistry. Scratches are literally left from everything and instantly, even from an ordinary plastic basin. Enamel is fragile and very, very capricious, micro scratches are provided with it.
Production takes place in China.
I do not advise chasing fashion brands, it's not worth it, it is better to resort to our native bathtubs.
pros
Shines beautifully, the paint holds
Minuses
Enamel is very fragile, scratches from everything
Term of use
more than five years
