Heater Penofol

In recent years, heaters have been developed for a wide variety of needs: panels made of extruded polystyrene foam, rigid basalt slabs or thick mineral wool mats. Each of them performs the required functions, but sometimes they cannot be used - due to humidity, installation difficulties or for other reasons. Penofol insulation material, which combines both absorbent and reflective insulation, can be the solution to the problem in such situations.

Opinions on the heater Penofol

It is a foamed polyethylene, which was shaped into a thin layer and coated on one or two sides with a layer of aluminum foil. For ease of use, it is made in three types:

Penofol-A - covered with foil film on one side, so as not to give heat output;

Penofol-B - covered with foil on both sides to reflect heat waves in two directions, that is, going both from the inside, the room, and the outside;

Penofol-C - on the one hand, a foil film is applied, on the other, in turn, a self-adhesive surface, which increases the ease of installation at times. It is used to warm hard-to-reach places or just for speed.

Such a heater requires a minimum of space: up to 10 mm thick. According to reviews, Penofol will cope well with hydro and vapor barrier. The material is really universal: if you use it correctly and work with joints efficiently, you can achieve good heat and sound insulation.

Four years of operation - no mold.

First, I made a screen behind the radiators from the heater, as a result I stuck it inside the whole house :-) It just got warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, due to the lack of drafts. Four years later, he dismantled part of the wall - he did not find any mold or moisture.

I recommend “Penofol” because it is not combustible, fakes, burn like gunpowder, with very toxic smoke. God saves man, who save himself.

For a balcony just right.

For a long time we chose what to insulate the balcony with, because it is round in shape, not all heaters were suitable for us, while shopping we found such a flexible, affordable and simple insulation, it was not difficult to work with it, it looked decent, it wasn’t closed for some time. Very convenient material for working with non-standard walls. We bought Penofol B, which is covered with foil on both sides, this option seemed more reliable, especially since we needed to keep the heat as long as possible. It is sold in rolls, lightweight, quite compact.

Of course, we failed to completely solve the problem of warming, but in the cold weather the balcony became noticeably warmer and more comfortable. I think that if you add another layer of polystyrene foam to it, then I think everything would be fine.

Quite effective and affordable insulation.

We arrived at the village for a couple of days. They do not have gas heating; they heat the house in the old fashioned way - with a stove. As in any other village house, they have a pantry slightly separated from the main room, which freezes very much in winter.

The husband immediately began to think how to insulate the house.I went to the city, returned with a large roll of Penofol. To be honest, I don’t know much about building materials, and I couldn’t believe that THIS could insulate a room.

Penofol was pasted on the walls. By the way, it sticks to a special glue that smells very bad. The walls of the room became really much warmer, closer to the morning there was no such dog cold. We did not achieve the utmost warmth and lack of drafts, since floors and windows need to be insulated. Now we will think about warming the remaining sources of cold weather.

Penofol for those who miss the heat in their home.
A comment
My children and I moved to a separate private house 16 years ago, and here, as in any private sector, there is a problem of cold walls. Old buildings, which are more than ten years old, are characterized by low temperatures in the room itself due to cold walls. Young consultants in one of the specialized stores convinced us to insulate the wall surface with Penofol. I did not dare to test myself more cold, and immediately went to the construction "hyper".

Penofol is practical and reliable. Just an astounding find in the construction market! This is a material that is characterized by a large number of positive qualities and is able to provide a person with what he needs. Penofol insulation completely coped with its primary function in my personal home, and if my friends or acquaintances encounter a similar problem, I will advise them to use Penofol.
pros
Penofol reflects heat and retains it in the walls of a residential building for a long time. In addition, it is an affordable thermal insulation product.
Minuses
Some hitch may occur with the independent installation of this insulation. Have to call the wizard.

Heater Penofol - reliable protection for the home.

I want to share my impression of Penofol, which is now so popular. This is a wall insulation that can reflect solar radiation. It is a foamed polyethylene coated on both sides with foil. Before buying, I read a lot of all kinds of positive information on the Web.
pros
The insulation is easy to use.
It really muffles extraneous sounds.
Minuses
It will not be suitable for insulation, you need to use other additional materials, and this is additional costs. Penofol is more likely a vapor barrier than a heater. If you do not put a layer of insulation between the wall and Penofol, the wall will be wet and cold. It is better to use foamed polyethylene, which is sold in rolls, the effect will be greater. Therefore, I am not particularly pleased with the result. Disadvantages exceed advantages. At the moment, I can put a little thing for manufacturers, not more.
