Warm floor Unimat
A comment
I will write a few words in favor of the Unimat core floor heating. I have been operating such a floor for 5 years. No problems were found during heating; it gives heat evenly; it does not eat much electricity. I bought the kit from an official company, and not in the market or from the names.

Maybe that is why there are no complaints about the quality of production so far. I advise everyone to use the services of official dealers, because the “left” suppliers will most likely have fakes with the corresponding result. This is a very popular product.

Now about the installation: everything is thought out and simple. The only thing you need to make sure that the materials for filling the screed is suitable for a warm floor, and most importantly, do not damage the rods when pouring the mortar. All this is written in the instructions, so you just need to follow the rules and not build yourself Kulibina. Good luck to all!
pros
Easy to install, inexpensive to operate, heat, long life, warranty.
Minuses
There are fakes on the market - you need to buy only from official representatives.

He laid in the country house in the bathroom, could not get enough of a year and a half, and then understood. First, the middle failed, six months later, and the entire floor (1 sq.m.). So it’s not 20 years, but two years of warranty and no more. Full g ...... but

Reduce the warranty by 10 times. He worked at UNIMAT for not 20 years. but two seasons. In the first year, the temperature sensor burned out (it was not clear what it was showing). I was reinsured in advance by installing two temperature sensors in different places. By reconnecting the second sensor, UNIMAT worked another winter season and grunted forever. To throw out such money for the sake of two years of operation - I do not advise. Installation was carried out strictly according to the instructions using original materials. Using the CALEO UTN-90 thermostat. Note that I have not the only case when UNIMAT fails after two years of operation.

Not the first time I did a warm floor. In several apartments, friends and parents always did the usual cable underfloor heating. Everything works fine to this day. In front of the front door I made 1 sq. M of underfloor heating under the tile so that the shoes dry. In 2013 I bought an ad for the core floor and put it on. 3.5 years have passed, only 2 of 8 rods are heated. They will have to break everything and re-lay it, but it will definitely NOT be Unimat.
pros
Quick installation.
Minuses
Fragility. No one will pay you the cost of dismantling the malfunctioning floor, only the examination and the court. So 20 years warranty is complete nonsense.

Core Unimat
A comment
Installed during repair in the bathroom, as the wife loves a warm floor - it was turned on by 25 degrees and worked almost all year round. Turned off only on hot summers. The bathroom is always warm and dry. Sprays on the floor dry out before our eyes. Heats evenly without “stripes” hotter / colder. At 2.5 years, it was turned off during warming (warmed up), and when it cooled down (after a couple of days), it did not turn on. Directly also did not turn on, the thermostat is working.

The floor itself, connectors, wires and thermostat were purchased "branded", installed by the construction company during the repair. When applying for a guarantee, the first question was “were the floors installed correctly and by certified workers?” As it turned out, certified in principle (in the Samara region) no. Further questions such as how to present the floors so that you can decide whether they are installed correctly and whether they fall under the guarantee, have remained unanswered. Googling realized that this is the norm.
pros
Warm evenly, not afraid of "locking".
Minuses
They burn not one rod, but the mat completely fails. A guarantee is nothing more than an advertising fiction.

Short service life
A comment
The year worked perfectly, then individual rods began to fail, and after 2 years it stopped working completely. Reason: In this model, there are many cable connections with carbon rods. From the cable, a current-carrying conductor enters the rod to a depth of about 3-5 mm. And since, according to the manufacturer’s recommendation, it is laid on a substrate, there is a slight backlash during operation. In this connection, reliable contact is lost in the connections and they simply burn out. The thermostat UTH-90 on two circuits is excellent and reliable, which can not be said about mats.
pros
Easy to install.
Minuses
Durability, warranty - a myth. The maximum of what you achieve is a replacement for the same.

Comfortable floor for children
A comment
I want to insert my 5 cents. Recently discovered another plus from underfloor heating. Installed core Unimat Rail in the nursery, hall and kitchen

Since mid-autumn, we almost always keep the floor warm. I have two sons. When it was still snowing on the street, after the walk the children ran from the street all sweating and wet almost through and threw off their jackets on the floor. Once I started spinning and didn’t control, and when two hours later I went to collect things for washing, I found out that they, including the jackets, had almost dried up. Now I’ve got used to it after washing, or when something needs to be dried urgently - I just place it above the warm floor. I am glad that the floors do not dry the air, but rather ionize. Children by the way this season did not hurt.
pros
among other things, it dries well

Unimat cord is good too
A comment
I bought a bathroom floor. I got a complete set even with instructions inside, but the only thing was that I had to buy a thermostat, they advised Kaleovsky, because others, due to the enormous thickness of the temperature sensor, did not fit. The floor is well insulated and can be laid under tile adhesive. The mat is thin, this requires some caution when installing it, and indeed, jokes are bad with electricity, so I entrusted the matter to a specialist. Paul has been working for over a year. All OK.

Unimat - a profitable investment
A comment
Acquired Unimat RAIL for myself, in the apartment. I was very pleased.
In the kitchen, laid under the tiles, in the room - under the laminate in the screed. The rods are quite thin, so the finished floor takes no more than 3 cm from the room.

Heats perfectly. I use mainly in the evening about 4 hours it works for me, then turn it off. And in the morning - I program the thermostat so that the floor turns on itself 20 minutes before I get up and while I'm going to work the floor works for about 2 hours.

On weekends, the floor works longer with us. For heated 30 squares I pay 600 -650 rubles. per month. A little expensive, but comfort is worth it!
I advise everyone.

I decided to insulate the attic in a private house
A comment
I decided to insulate the attic in a private house. But even with complete insulation of the walls and windows, the floors remained cold. I decided to lay Unimat.

As a result, I ran into fierce criticism of friends about the place of production of components for this product. Like that Korea, that China is one Mr. ... I doubted and climbed on the Internet, then I talked with knowledgeable people who assured me that all these are stupid stereotypes. In Korea, they really care about the quality of the goods they supply (at least with regard to electrics).
He listened to the experts - he made a conclusion. As a result, for a year now there has been no worries, no trouble. Everything works. Very cool)
pros
heat, saves energy, quality
Minuses
a lot of fakes, to replace, you need to do the repair again (
