I bought the best coating in my opinion. Made in Finland. It burned out in 3 years. Light green and light-green became uneven. I would have survived this, but after 5 years, plastic began to fly off in pieces. Gray primed spots remain

Minuses
Lost money for material and work

Burns out
A comment
I built a 6X9 country house for myself and my family, built it honestly, I wanted to feel ashamed of my family and guests for my creation. Therefore, I chose all materials with particular scrupulousness, this also applies to metal roofing, but as it turned out later, I made a mistake in this matter. I decided to purchase and install plastizol coated tiles.

The coating is of high quality, it is considered one of the most dense and thickest, among all coatings for metal tiles. With such a tile, you should not be afraid of the formation of damage and scratches during its transportation or installation.
But, unfortunately, despite all the advantages, the coating burns out and deforms in the sun. So at the end of the warranty period you will need to immediately change the roof tiles, it will become simply unusable and not beautiful. I will not advise, the service life is short.

It burns out in the sun!

4 years ago, after reflection, I covered the roof with a Finnish metal tile from the company Rostika with plastisol coating, a sheet thickness of 0.45 mm. The coating is very thick - 200 microns, such a coating has good resistance to various damage. All thanks to its basis - PVC in other words polyvinyl chloride. But this coating is less resistant to weathering.

For four years, it faded in the sun just awful! Honestly, I didn’t expect such a turn when I took it, I couldn’t even think of a thought that would happen. The guarantee for it is only five years, now you have to solve issues with dealers. Unpleasant situation, but what to do. I don’t definitely advise that the coating is really durable, but it burns out from the sun and the view becomes not beautiful, and all the strength in this situation is just an unpleasant precipitate!
pros
Cost, strength of metal.
Minuses
It burns out.

Plastizol coating - a guarantee of the practicality of the roof
A comment
A couple of years ago, I rented a state-owned store; its condition wished for the best, especially the outdated roof. There is nothing to be done, I had to repair it. For the roof, I quickly chose affordable in all respects (price, quality, reliability, strength, color fastness, flexibility) plastisol coated metal tile.

In order to save, I decided to do all the work myself. And everything worked out for me - the sheets, although thick to the touch, fit perfectly, did not break, where they should be easily trimmed, and in general installation on time and labor was not burdensome. I was pleased with my work. My emotions are going wild!

Two years have passed, during which my confidence in the right choice increases every day.
pros
simplicity of installation, durability, compliance price-quality
Minuses

Term of use

Plastisol: excellent protection for 10-15 years
A comment
I expanded the house from a bar, of course, I had to block the roof. I looked out for more impressive options. In the construction shop, it turned out that a metal tile covered with Plastizol, which then had a share, used a good margin of safety. Even at a discount a little ruinous, but took.

The coating turned out to be reliable not only externally: installation without a scratch, after a local weather emergency, not a trace, for five years no rust. Plus, due to the smoothness, snow masses slide from the surface. But as the guarantee passed, the tile burned out, the upper layers began to peel off, the beauty was gone. Although the annoying changes to the functionality did not affect, it's a shame. However, in our sharply continental region this is a common problem.
pros
great thickness, strength, appearance
Minuses
impressive cost, sensitivity to ultraviolet, temperature fluctuations
Term of use
more than five years
