Great punch for home use

The perf is great for its price. Better I really did not find. Someone writes what they are doing in China. What are NOT doing in China now? China is not a minus, it also happens to be different. There may be a basement adiBas, or maybe an Apple certified factory. Therefore, the country is definitely not worth paying attention to. Weight for me personally is normal. Those who love easier, may not quite like it. Personally, I am guided by the weight in the perfs, knowingly know that I will do the grooving work faster with the heavy ones. Maybe this is of course personally my design feature, but it is.

Great gift for a man (and not expensive)
A comment
Although they make it in China, but in a normal factory. Made in Russian. And the Russian tool was always appreciated by locksmiths. What are they not doing in China now? So here, at least they do not hide it. Normal weight for such a hammer drill is 3 kg. As for the home is a great thing. There is an additional cartridge for conventional drills, reverse, speed control. Case is, which is nice. I tried it in work, normal. Doesn't hit. The drill is level. I am satisfied.
pros
Additional cartridge, price, reverse, speed control, safety clutch.
Minuses
Not.

non-Russian tool
A comment
This tool is not Russian-made. Unless, if the Chinese organized the company "Omega" and made these perforators in Ulyanovsk.
Although the iron case and weight superior to competitors, this, of course, is very in Russian.
pros
According to reviews, not bad. Good kit, well thought out design (grease filling window, dust nozzle)
Minuses
China. Too heavy.

I have never regretted buying a STAVR PEV-1300 punch.
A comment
I bought a PEV-1300 model puncher from the company STAVR, when I started building my house, I used it all the time, just drilled it up and down, I’ll say it was not melting, it became my real construction assistant, there were no problems with it all the time caused by. He cost 4 thousand.

And now I’ll tell you about its undoubted advantages, the case is completely made of metal, a very powerful 1300 watts. It weighs 5.5 kg, but believe me for such power and quality, do not expect lightness, there is no place for plastic. The largest number of beats per minute that he can make about 3000.The rotary hammer cannot be repaired, in which case it is changed to a similar one, only brand new (warranty covers 3 years). I am completely satisfied with the work of my device, now I recommend it only to all my friends
pros
Power, quality of work.
Minuses
Too heavy.

Stavr, the key to quality in work.
A comment
Previously, I used only a drill to drill holes. But there was a need for work, to drill them in large quantities, I decided to take a puncher from a friend for a while, which I want to say I liked, quickly and efficiently. I decided to buy it, immediately noticed that most models are very light, it seems to me that this completely suggests that inside all the details of the device are made of plastic. And then associations with product breakdown immediately emerge. As a result, he turned his attention to the STAVR PEV-1050 puncher, I have been using it for 1 year (of course I haven’t used it all the time), there are additional drill bits for concrete, drill bits, grease. Between the handle and the gearbox there is a small pillow in the form of an accordion, which simply saves during operation, the vibration of the device is not so felt by the hand.
pros
Powerful.

Feedback on the Stavr PEV-1050 puncher: master of drilling and percussion operations
A comment
The unit was presented to me for the anniversary of my colleague. Recommended as the most necessary for home craftsmen. Exactly. I even like its small bulkiness, which makes drilling as accurate as possible, reduces vibration. In the latter, it helps the presence of a plump gasket between the handle and the gearbox, which due to the vertical mounting provides an impressive indicator of torque. I believe that the developers of the model should say special thanks for the perfect design decision. All parts are balanced, the connections are reliable, there is a window for self-correction of the state and level of lubrication. By the way, grease, which is beneficial, is sold in the kit. Calling Stavr PEV-1050 ideal is hindered only by quick overheating and the need for rest (the temperature of the case must be carefully monitored, turning off the device at the slightest doubt).
pros
excellent power, stability in any position (even in the "crush + punch" mode), excellent speed of tasks, reliable assembly.
Minuses
poorly adapted to continuous operation at good speeds, often seizes.
Term of use
more than three years
