Infrared underfloor heating in a wooden house - reviews and experience with its use

Safe floor
A comment
Three years ago we had a baby. We decided not to catch a cold when he begins to crawl to lay a warm floor. We chose the infrared film "Warm floor No. 1". From my point of view, it has two advantages - it is not flammable (there is a special cable sheath) and is inexpensive compared to imported ones. The child constantly plays on the floor and never got sick.
pros
Safe and inexpensive.
Minuses
Not.

Tepletto - a good infrared floor
A comment
In 2012, he decided to install the Tepletto infrared film floor heating in his wooden house, which he made in South Korea. I installed it under the laminate, did the installation myself. There is nothing complicated in it, laying mats and general assembly of the structure does not take much time.

The temperature controller chose programmable, it seems to me that it is much more convenient to not only set the required temperature, but also set the required heating time, etc.

He brought it to a separate machine, since this floor covers a fairly large amount of area in my house.

Floor heating begins immediately, after about 10 minutes it feels warm under your feet. Set the heating mode from 6-8 in the morning and 18-21 in the evening. It doesn’t spend much energy, since it does not work round the clock. I am satisfied with the floor of Tepletto, everything that I wanted it to do, meets the characteristics.
pros
Cheap cost in comparison with other firms, evenly warms up
Minuses
It is not recommended to put heavy furniture in those places where mats are laid.

At the cottage, underfloor heating Q-term
A comment
Q-term infrared floor heating, I bought for a summer residence. I saw him in the store and realized that I needed him. I laid it myself, I can note that there is no need to have rich experience, there are many video instructions on the Internet, following which it will be easy to spread the floor. It took me about 3 hours.

I liked the operation of this floor as follows:

- it does not dry air;
- creates warmth and comfort;
- evenly and instantly heats the floor;
- The design is safe and reliable.

Infrared underfloor heating does not consume as much electric energy as I expected. As it turned out, a film heater is capable of creating infrared energy, due to which energy is saved. Plus, the heater keeps heat for a long time, cools down gradually, and not sharply. In general, this is a great option for a summer house or a private house.
pros
You can easily and quickly lay yourself

Cost

Tepletto floor heating - an additional source of heat in a cold room
A comment
Although the daughter’s room is not large (9 sq.m.), it gets cool there in winter. That is why, when they began to make repairs in the nursery, they decided to install a warm floor there.We chose an infrared floor, from the brand Tepletto. Why they took it, it was very simple that the cable did not suit us, since we live in our own house and the floor is wooden.

The infrared is warm, the floor is a film with copper plates built into it. Laying the floor is not difficult, you only need: a substrate in the form of a foil, a kit with a warm floor and a temperature controller.

Installed underfloor heating in 3sq.m. rooms, in general, the manufacturer recommends using it only 30-40% of the area of the room. This floor is afraid of furniture, due to the fact that it can overheat.

The room warms up the floor well, in the spring, when the heating was turned off, the child slept in the same T-shirt. Although my husband and I in the next room slept under several blankets.
pros
easy to stack, very thin, does not burn oxygen
Minuses
not for tile
Term of use
more than three years
