Diesel heating boilers

The indisputable advantage of diesel boilers is their independence from external sources, for example, from a gas pipeline. You do not need to worry about high costs, since diesel fuel is cheaper than electricity. Diesel boilers are autonomous, silent and have high efficiency; permission is not required for their installation. However, they require maintenance and are more expensive than other types of boilers. If you plan to purchase such equipment, but are afraid of high fuel consumption, reviews about diesel heating boilers will help you find out this question.

You tell me where the TURBO-30R couture models have the declared efficiency of 92.7 if the power is 34.9 kW. And he eats 4.30 liters per hour or even more. Then the power should be 43 kW. at these boilers, all the efficiency flies out onto the street, we warm the street and just stupidly burn salary. You measure the temperature at the exit, you can fry eggs. What could be the efficiency if everything flies out onto the street in a straight line. I listened to one asshole bought this shit couture TURBO-30R threw the money and then throw the money out heating the street. installed a cast-iron German boiler of three running efficiency 97.4. At the exhaust, barely warm steam comes out where all the efficiency remains inside the boiler. heating the building 250 square meters on couture salary 4.5-5 liters per hour. Now the German does not eat more than 2.2 liters per hour. Draw conclusions. I have done for myself. HOW ARE SAYING THE MISSING PAYS TWICE AND THE STUPID THREE

Used Wisman liquid fuel boiler for 6 years. The average consumption of 13-15 liters per day. Despite the fact that he was at the cottage 2 times a week. The size of the house is 200 m2. The content is not cheap. Very sensitive to the quality of diesel fuel. And so, in principle, for the entire time of operation I was satisfied.

Why diesel boilers are disadvantageous, and how to reduce the cost of their operation?
A comment
In view of the constant rise in the price of fuel, using it for heating is in many cases even less profitable than heating with electricity. Many attribute the minuses of boilers with liquid burners, and the fact that even the models of the most famous manufacturers often consume more fuel than stated in the passport. However, heating costs can be reduced by using some tips.

I constantly follow them and am completely satisfied with my boiler:

Do not use diesel fuel intended for automotive engines. There is a special furnace for boilers, it is cheaper, but for burners that are not precision unlike the fuel equipment of diesel engines, there is no difference, they do not differ in calorific value during the combustion process.

The decrease in boiler efficiency is often due to the misalignment of the air-fuel ratio. Therefore, you need to periodically configure.

Different types of fuel may require different settings, so I buy only one brand and only one company.

Follow the principles that I, too, do not take offense in many cases for no reason at all for various models of oil-fired boilers.
pros
Possibility of fully autonomous and automatic operation, low price of burners.
Minuses
The high cost of fuel.

For me, a diesel boiler is profitable
A comment
I constantly read negative reviews about diesel boilers, so I want to dissuade everyone. It has been standing in the country for many years, there are 0 problems with it. The house is large, two-story, with an area of approximately 145 square meters, in the winter it eats no more than 12 liters per day, while Tashkent is at home. A year ago, I had heated floors of 3 kW and a couple of converters, each one kW, and so fuel consumption was reduced to 6 liters per day. In this case, the temperature on the street reaches -25 C. I take the fuel on a call, a fuel truck arrives and casts as much as needed into the tank, if you take more than 500 liters, then delivery is free.

The boiler is made of steel, with a capacity of approximately 25 kW, a dual-circuit model. We live with the family in the country only on the weekend, the house is completely heated during the hour of the boiler. So I can say with confidence that he has more than enough power. In general, I am satisfied with the boiler.

Kiturami 13 - dear
A comment
I decided to take myself an inexpensive diesel boiler Kiturami 13. Installation was done by specialists, installation was done in the basement. At first I used it as a pleasure, I want to separately note a very detailed instruction with a block diagram of the boiler is attached to the boiler. I also want to warn everyone that the boiler is working very noisily, so if you are going to install it directly in the house, please note that you will not be able to sleep in silence. I always buy diesel fuel at gas stations. As for the work, then the boiler has no equal.

He quickly heats the room, keeps heat well. For me, the only drawback of this boiler is the high cost of maintenance, a lot of money is spent on diesel fuel. On the coldest days, more than 700 rubles a day could go, for a month a huge amount follows. I advise only those who do not care about budget costs, only those who have warmth in priority.

heats well

very expensive service

Diesel boiler "Olympia" OLB-130F-R
A comment
A solid fuel boiler was installed at home for several years. To exploit it, you need to spend a lot of energy, so we decided to find a less time-consuming option. We chose a Olympia OLB-130F-R diesel boiler. It works from 220 watts, eats little energy - 68 watts. Using it is simple, you only need to add fuel to the tank on time. The house has an area of 125 square meters, in winter, when there is severe frost on the street (from -35 to -45 C), fuel consumption averages 20 liters per day. At the moment, on the street +5 - -5 C, an average of 5 liters of fuel is consumed.

It is not cheap to keep such a boiler; it requires not small money. But now there is heat in the house, and it is not necessary to heat it every 2-3 hours. Also, a special boiler control panel came with the boiler, with it you can set the temperature, on / off the boiler and without entering the boiler room.
pros
Easy to maintain
Minuses
Expensive to maintain
Term of use
more than three years
