Infrared heaters for summer cottages

An infrared heater is perhaps the most advantageous option in a situation where you want to heat a country house or cottage. Its action is based on heating not air, but objects. And only when solid surfaces heat up, they transfer heat to the surrounding air.

Infrared heaters

The widespread use of infrared heaters in the country is explained by their significant advantages:

  • The design of the heater is quite reliable and durable.
  • The ability to quickly heat the room, which is important when visiting the cottage in the cold season.
  • The small dimensions and mass of the heater facilitate its delivery.
  • Possible options for fixing the device to the surface of the wall or ceiling can save usable space.
  • Environmentally friendly equipment is absolutely safe for health and even has healing properties.
  • Such heating allows you to save finances due to low electricity consumption.
  • The presence of a thermostat ensures that a constant comfortable temperature is maintained.
  • The device does not present a fire hazard.

A highly reliable heating element is provided with a system of protection against overheating and moisture and meets all the requirements of regulatory documents. According to experts, infrared heaters used for summer cottages are also perfect for heating loggias and verandas.

I live in a private house with steam heating. But I also have a garage in which I did not conduct heating. It was there that I bought an infrared heater. Hanged it over the car. The device lived up to expectations. Electricity "eats" a little, but decently warms. Even in severe frosts, the car is always warm in the cabin, the engine does not need to be warmed up. In general, I am satisfied with the device, and I plan to purchase such heaters for summer cottages.
pros

24 square meters were used to heat the production premises, though high - more than 3 meters ceilings, 2 windows. We took 3 heaters. There is little sense - it was cold to work. It was necessary to bask only to run under them. There were no drafts, but they did not warm the room. Very specific item.
pros
they work reliably, the hulls are strong - after 4 transportations by a truck, they patted them outwardly, but they work!
Minuses
effective heating zone is small. Stand opposite yourself and bask. step left - step right - frozen.

more than three years

I go to the country quite often all year round. Although I have a small cottage, it’s very comfortable, there is no heating system, I used electric oil radiators with a total consumption of 3kw per hour. Last year I bought an infrared heater on the ceiling, the difference is felt right away.

In addition to the fact that it consumes two times less electricity, the heat coming from it is much more efficient than two oil radiators. I have a room of 12m3, two oilers at t - 20 heated it in 3 hours, (the walls were terribly cold in winter), an infrared heater managed in 1 hour. Unlike other electric heaters, the IR heater warms up everything, this year I forgot what a cold bed and ice floors are.
And the risk of fire is minimized, which is important for my wooden walls.
pros
low power consumption with high efficiency (800watt per 12m3), the presence of a thermostat, environmental friendliness, fire safety, uniform heating of everything in the room (including walls),
Minuses
The price of 6000 rubles may seem high, but it costs this money - it is a fact.
