Infrared heaters

Modern heating appliances are improved from year to year. Where it is necessary to organize local heating zones, an infrared heater will be the best option. This device, like the sun's rays, is able to heat surrounding objects that transmit heat to the air. It can serve as the main or additional heating.

Infrared heaters

The features of these heaters give them a number of advantages:

  • Heaters provide uniform heating to which it is directed.
  • Air does not overheat during operation.
  • It works absolutely silently.
  • Oxygen is not burned.
  • There is no burning smell.
  • Low power consumption.
  • The temperature regulator provides support of the set temperature.

IR heaters have a metal casing to which heat-emitting panels with mounted electric heaters are mounted. Different models of infrared heaters can have different overall dimensions, weight, power consumption and heating area.

According to consumer reviews, infrared heaters do an excellent job of heating absolutely any premises, be it production shops, warehouses, shops, hospitals or kindergartens. But the most important thing is the competent selection and use of these heaters. First of all, due to the neglect of these points, infrared heaters receive negative reviews.

Infrared heater Almak IK-11, 1000 W
A comment
The heater was purchased for a problematic small office (8 meters), with a high ceiling (about 5 meters) and a large area of glazing from floor to ceiling, as the central heating began to be lacking even with a slight minus, and it was also cool as usual before turning on the heating in the fall and immediately after a trip in the spring. It was hung on a cable between the walls because of the ceiling height, at the level of about 2.5 meters in the center of the office, together with an automatic temperature regulator.

It copes with its task well, for a comfortable temperature it’s enough up to minus 20 degrees on the street, for even colder weather, given the specifics of the room, the 1300 W option would certainly be more suitable, it copes well in the above periods of autumn and spring, plus quite quickly removes excessive humidity in the room if necessary. It has been working for almost 5 years (the factory warranty is also declared as 5 years). The same heaters of different capacities and colors were later purchased by parents at the cottage and brother on the balcony
pros
- very compact and does not look like a heater at all, often everyone thinks that this is some kind of lamp;
- well suited to remove excess moisture, but it does not burn oxygen.
Minuses
- poorly suited for the role of the only heating source in the winter, ideal for additional or for the sole but not at subzero temperatures.

more than three years

Heater met all expectations
A comment
I decided to buy an infrared heater once, at that time there was a lot of advertising on this topic. Among all the possible I chose UFO and Bilyuks. The price was biting at UFO compared to the Bilyuks, but the characteristics did not differ. So the choice fell on bilux. I bought it at the cottage, the room is small (15 sq / m) and he literally heated it in a minute !! For comparison, the convector heater coped with this task in about 40 minutes. Take it, for small rooms, what you need!
pros
Significantly saves money, compared to a convector heater and heats the room in a minute! Relatively compact and inexpensive.
Minuses
Cracks slightly after heating

Infrared heaters BiLux - advertising, and more!
A comment
I bought a BeLux panel in the hope that it could heat the room. Bought on advertising, and ended up disappointed. It costs not at all cheaply, but in essence there is little sense.

Installation by the way is not easy, it needs to be mounted on the ceiling and the outlet with a cable is removed, not everyone can do it. Well, this is half the trouble, the main problem is that the heater itself is not any! To warm up, you will have to wait 20 minutes, after which the temperature in the room changes only by 2 degrees and that's it. There are no adjustment buttons, levers, it just works on / off and that's it.

In addition, the infrared heater is harmful to the body (found out after the purchase). Consumes electricity is not sickly. So, I don’t advise you, it’s expensive, but it doesn’t matter very well. Do not spoil the room, choose something else for yourself. Infrared heaters - advertising, and more!

Minuses
It does not really warm, complicated installation, expensive, harmful to the body

UFO Star 1800 infrared heater warms me when it's cold
A comment
The UFO Star infrared heater, model 1800, bought a little less than a year ago. This is a wonderful model that allows you to immediately feel the heat in the room immediately after switching on. It works without noise, does not absorb oxygen and does not dry air. A temperature controller is installed on the heater, with which you can maintain the optimum temperature value in automatic mode.

The heater can be installed either on a telescopic stand (which, if necessary, can be rearranged) or on the wall (for this purpose, the mount went with the heater). In addition, the infrared heater can also be used outdoors, the heat is already felt at a distance of two meters. For me, this is a useful, practical thing, thanks to which I feel more comfortable in the cool season. I advise, I think appreciate it.
pros
good heater, no noise
Minuses
not stable enough on a telescopic stand

UFO STAR 3000 infrared heater inconsistent attitude
A comment
Parents have a house on stove heating, and you won’t get cold in the cold, so we bought the UFO STAR 3000 infrared heater to help them. After three months of periodic use, the whole family has a very contradictory impression on him. When turned on, it heats up very quickly, but heats up only purposefully. That's why I have to rearrange and twirl it, but I don’t really want to rotate it, because I can’t say that it is very stable. If at home there are children or animals, then they can simply toss it down. But I think a big plus is that it perfectly warms up the muscles.
pros
reasonable price, it warms up muscles well
Minuses
targeted heating only, not safe

half a year

Heater UFO STAR 2300 - advertising is lying
A comment
The UFO Star 2300 heater settled in our office in the cold autumn and quickly disappointed everyone. The director of my company bought it, having seen enough advertising and not bothering ourselves with our advice and wishes. Since I am the only girl in the men's team, this miracle of technology most often proudly stood behind me. When it was especially cold in the office they turned it on and, after listening to the standard crack, they waited for heat. The heat came, but it reached only our backs and not all of them.

The rest of the body, especially the legs, continued to freeze further. When the heating power was added on the thermostat, the legs did not get warmer, and the back began to burn, since Ufo was no longer warming, but frying. When trying to twist the head of the heater in all directions, as well as up and down, the situation did not change much. Subsequently, this “head” could simply fall sharply and even hit our sales manager.

Its price was also not pleasing, it would be better to buy two heaters easier, plus its leg holder was bought separately. The cord is very short, you have to transfer UFO often and you can’t do without carrying it.
pros
heats up quickly
Minuses
uneven heating
unreliable clamps on the "head" of the heater
short cord

more than three years

The heater is great for giving
A comment
My husband and I have a small cottage with several rooms: a bedroom, a bathroom, a toilet, a loggia and a kitchen. For heating the cottages, we needed heaters. For a long time we wondered which one to choose, reviewed many options and settled on infrared. One we decided to hang in the bedroom above the bed, and the second found a place on the loggia.

In winter, when we arrive in the rooms, the temperature is 7-8 degrees. Including heaters, the temperature rises to 23-24 degrees in a few hours.

Heaters fit perfectly into the interior, they are not particularly striking and do not interfere. The purchase price was quite affordable. The only minus was some cracking when you first turned on the device. After consulting with specialists, we found out that it should be so. The next time we turned on the crackles we were no longer bothered.

Installation of the device turned out to be not difficult. The husband managed on his own and did not have to resort to professional help.
pros
- affordable price;
- fast heating of the room.
Minuses
- Cracking at first starts.

more than one year
