Mobile air conditioners for an apartment or a house - user reviews and opinions

For a rented apartment, Alaska MAC 9010 mobile air conditioning is a good option
A comment
This review will be useful to everyone who does not have the opportunity to establish a split. I live in rented housing, the fan no longer saves me in the summer, so when I found out that there are models of mobile air conditioners, I immediately decided to buy one myself. I went to the nearest store and purchased an Alaska MAC 9010 mobile air conditioner there.

Air conditioner cools well, in about 30 minutes the room becomes comfortable air.
It works noisily, but I'm used to the sounds of a running fan.

To remove hot air without problems, I bought a piece of fiberglass in the store and adjusted it to the size of the window, and then simply fixed it instead of a mosquito net, so that you can enjoy the coolness without much effort.
This option is suitable only for tenants of apartments, but it is better to install a split system, it will be much more practical and convenient.
pros
Cools quickly and well, control, installation is simple.
Minuses
It makes a noise like a helicopter.

more than one year

Bork Y500 Air Conditioner Hangs Out At Home
A comment
I want to tell you about my air conditioner, which has been idle for a year now. In general, I myself do not understand why I chose the Bork Y500 mobile air conditioner. I bought the first one and brought it home. All I wanted from him was to get cool in the summer and sometimes use it as a dehumidifier.

At the time of purchase, the cost was 12,000 rubles. Outwardly, something resembles a computer system unit.

The air conditioner can be controlled by the remote control or using the panel with an LCD display. Management is simple, but if problems arise you can always see everything you need in the instructions. I do not advise taking it, you can find more compact air conditioners.
pros
The fan, cools, heats and drains the air, is easy to control.
Minuses
The first minus is that it takes up a lot of space in the room.

The second is poor performance as a cooler. Slowly cools, one can say almost imperceptibly.

Third - it works noisily, his head starts to hurt.

Fourth - I had to drill a hole in the balcony door and then seal it with a latch to withdraw the pipe.

Many cons and disadvantages in the Ergo ACM-0903 CH mobile air conditioner
A comment
Ergo ACM-0903 CH mobile air conditioner was purchased 2 years ago. It works noisily, and what to expect from an apparatus in which fans and a compressor are in one place. It works according to the principle: it draws air in with a fan, blows them through a cold evaporator, and then, in a cooled form, the air flows back into the room, and all the hot air enters the street through an exhaust pipe.
The model itself is compact, there is a handle at the top, holding it you can move the air conditioner. On the front side there is a control unit with indications. There is also a remote control, a rather modest design, without a display. A deflector is located just below the control panel.

Functionally equipped is not bad, though it will not work to regulate the fan speed. Air conditioning always runs at maximum speed. So choose you.
pros
easier things are with installation
Minuses
pipe binding, noise, poor performance
Term of use
more than three years
